“And God is able to make all grace
abound toward you; that ye, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to
every good work” 2Corinthians 9:8.
LIGHT FOR THE
NOW: A man
that is graced by God is able to do all things.
Every Christian has been graced by
God to excel in all things. This is because God directs all the grace he
requires for anything in this life such that he is not lacking in any
competency or ability. As a born again Christian, you are qualified for any task.
That is what it means to have ‘all sufficiency in all things’. You have all the
competencies, special skills and abilities required for excellence in all
things. The word, ‘sufficiency’ in our anchor scripture is translated in Greek
word ‘autarkeia’ which means a state of being
self-sufficient whereby one does not require any aid or support. As a
believer in Christ Jesus, you have a balanced life such that you are so
efficient, effective and capable of handling all situations of life without any
help or assistance. You must think, see and live from this perspective of
limitless possibilities and endless opportunities. You have been graced by God
to handle all matters of life. In every sphere of life, a believer in Christ
Jesus is expected to take over; to be in charge.
You have the competence and you are
up to the task. No matter the challenges you may face in life, they are bread
for you. You are competent enough to handle them. Paul in Philippians 4:13
states, ‘I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me’. If God has chosen you to do a thing, there is
no need wondering if you will be able to do it or not. Your competence is of
God. He who has called you to do a thing will equip you with the specific
skills and abilities to do that thing. You have been specially equipped by God
to take over territories. You have been graced to produce excellence.
Halleluiah!
INSTRUCTION: Never doubt your capabilities. You
have been graced by God.
PRAYER: Father, thank you for creating me unto every good
work in Jesus Name. Amen!
QUOTE: Grace is the grease that makes life easy.
