“The spirit of the lord is upon me,
because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me
to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to
preach the acceptable year of the Lord” Luke 4:18-19
LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Real deliverance that puts you on top of Satan
is preached and not prayed.
The word “deliverance” is translated from the
Greek word “aphesis” and it means release, send away, take away or rescue.
Deliverance is either taught or preached. It is not a prayer. Jesus and the
Apostles never connected nor recommended us to prayers for deliverance: Bible
deliverance and deliverance that puts you on top of Satan is preached and not
prayed. The practice of praying over people in this regard is strange. Another
word for bible deliverance is “forgiveness of sins”. Ignorance makes you a
captive. So, the preaching of deliverance frees you from ignorance ( Eph 1:18
). No amount of prayer can open your understanding. The only thing that opens
your understanding is the teaching of the Word of God (Psalms 119:130; Isaiah
5:13-14). If you do not have the redemption knowledge, you are going down. You
need to understand that, the word “It is Finished” is a comprehensive word (
John 19:30 ). When you pray deliverance, you are acting in ignorance
Deliverance
means complete forgiveness from the bondage of sins. You are not delivered
until you receive the forgiveness of sins that God offered through The Blood of
Jesus. Therefore, deliverance is a one-time event. Repetition of deliverance is
an attack that attracts more demons to you. If you are born of God or have
received the forgiveness of sins, you are unstoppable, untouchable, etc. There
is no process for deliverance, but it is a one-time encounter.
Believers in
Christ are partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light because of their
forgiveness of sins. To be delivered is to be translated from one place to
another. When you receive the forgiveness of sins, it means you have been
delivered from the authority of darkness into the authority of Light. You are
Light personified (John 1:4, Isaiah 60:1). When you enter a place and things
are not working, your duty is to make it work (1 Peter 2:9, John 1:5). The word
“deliverance” also means Salvation. The moment you receive the forgiveness of sin,
you receive deliverance from the power of darkness.
INSTRUCTION: Receive Jesus and have all-round
deliverance.
PRAYER: Father, by your word I am delivered, in Jesus name. Amen!
QUOTE: To be delivered is to have your sins
forgiven.
