“Saying with a loud voice,
worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and
strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing” Revelations 5:12.
LIGHT FOR THE NOW:
The greatest blessing of God to man is the gift of Jesus in the flesh.
Redemption delivers to man
seven packages of spiritual elements. These are power, riches, wisdom,
strength, honour, glory and blessing. Anyone who is in possession of these
elements is unstoppable. Power is the real essence of Christianity. Power has
to do with authority.
Jesus did not carry the power he collected from Satan to
heaven. The power was handed over to believers to cause things to happen. The
power must of a necessity be witnessed. By virtue of redemption, believers have
been endowed with the power to change any ugly situations they don’t like. Are
you sick in your body, you have the power to speak healing. You have the power
to subdue the works of the devil. Wherever you find yourself, as a believer in
Christ Jesus, you have the power to cause positive changes in your environment.
Another benefit of redemption is
riches. Riches do not refer to material things neither does it has anything to
do with your hard work. Rather, it has everything to do with supernatural
supply. According to Philippians 4:19, ‘but
my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ
Jesus’. Again, the Bible records in 2 Corinthians 8:9, ‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye
through his poverty might be rich’.
The third element in the redemption
package is wisdom. Wisdom is to know the next step to take in life. With
wisdom, you discern what to do, when to do, how to do and where to execute your
intensions. A vital biblical admonition is that ‘in all thy getting, get
understanding’ (Proverbs 4:7). Another redemption benefit is strength. This
connotes vitality, longevity, vibrancy and long life. Concerning the anointed ones,
the Lord assures them of strength (Psalms 28:7-8). You are the anointed one and
God is your saving strength.
INSTRUCTION: Be conscious of your
benefits in redemption.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the redemptive packages in
the Name of Jesus.
QUOTE: There is no loss in redemption.
