“Now thanks be unto
God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the
savour of his knowledge by us in every place” 2Corinthians 2:14.
LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Christianity is a call to the
triumphant life.
When you come into Christ Jesus, you are immediately
transported into the kingdom of God’s dear son; into a life of triumph. Our
text shows us God’s purpose for every believer is to live a life of constant
victory. This means that in Christ, we have been called to live a life of
productivity, good success, peace, joy, health, and permanent prosperity. This
is the heritage of every believer in Christ Jesus. You have been empowered to
win every day of your life because you were redeemed to take over your world. Unfortunately,
there are many who are yet to accept this glorious truth and as a result live
below God’s standard. To them, the journey of life is full with uncertainties;
they win today and lose tomorrow. However, this is inconsistent with the life
we have in Christ. (Proverbs 4:18) says “the path of the just is like a shining light
that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”
God wants us to triumph ALWAYS, not sometimes. When you have
this consciousness, you can never be a victim. Endeavor to be conscious of your
victory in Christ. You have the very nature of God in you because In Him you
live, move and have your being (Acts 17:28). You were born a champion. Live
each day of your life in victory. Yours is a life of daily blessings, favor and
miracles. You are born of God and whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world
(1John 4:4). You have been empowered to take over. Therefore, refuse to live
below God’s standard. Enforce your redemption. Activate your divine nature.
Live in the consciousness that if Christ was not defeated, then you cannot be
defeated. The nature of God is at work in you. You have no right to be stranded
in life or to go through life empty. Rise up and take over territories. It is
your divine inheritance in Christ to prosper and be in good health even as your
soul prospers.
INSTRUCTION: You have been made a champion.
Behave like one.
PRAYER: Lord, help me walk in the
consciousness of the victory you have given to me in Jesus name.
