THE REVELATION OF CHRIST (1)

“And he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables” Mark 4:11 (NKJV)

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Until the mystery of the kingdom is revealed, it is of no use whatsoever to the believer.

The entire kingdom of God is a mystery that must be revealed. It takes the revelation of Christ for the Word to prevail. When the Word is spoken without revelation, it cannot prevail. Until the mystery of the kingdom is revealed, it is of no use whatsoever to the believer. You cannot benefit from what you do not know. When the message is preached to an unsaved man and he believes and acts on it, eternal life is activated in him. At that moment, his spirit is empowered. If a believer is not well taught, he or she will continue to be oppressed. No born again Christian can be possessed but can be oppressed through a lack of knowledge. It is therefore a necessity that every born again Christian be taught how to engage the priestly office of Jesus. When the devil sees that you do not know, he will capitalize on your ignorance (John 8:32). The place of knowledge can therefore not be overemphasized in your Christian walk here on earth. There is need for a believer to know that he is not of this world. You cannot be of the world and conquer the world. God does not give birth to the flesh. God is a spirit and everyone who is born again is a spirit-being (John 3:6). A New-Creation is not born of the blood but of God. God does not operate in our sense realm.

Therefore, all you need as a believer had already been put in place by Christ. Jesus redeemed you by paying the ransom on the cross of Calvary and by His death, He had repurchased you. The devil has no right to keep you bound because Jesus died for you. “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:28). As many that look upon Him shall He appear without sin.

INSTRUCTION: Get an accurate and precise knowledge of Christ.
