“Christ hath redeemed
us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written,
cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might
come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of
the spirit through faith” Galatians 3:13-14
LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Redemption made it possible for man
to enjoy eternal life.
Anytime you do not understand the finished work of Christ on
the Cross, you will exalt problems above redemption. Failure and frustration
are not part of our redemption (Revelation 5:10). It was man’s disobedience
that brought sin to the world. Disobedience to God’s instruction brought sin
and sin brought death into the world. Romans 5:12 (NLT) says, “When
Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread
to everyone, for everyone sinned”. Everything about man was good until
sin arrived. Wherever you find sin, you will find death. Sin is not an act; it
is a nature. It is not what you do but who you are. Redemption makes it
possible for us to enjoy eternal life.
Redemption is re-creation. It is God recreating Himself in
man. The day you come into Christ, all of God is deposited in your inside.
Colossians 1:14 says, “in whom we have redemption through his
blood, even the forgiveness of sins”. Sin is not of God. James 1:13
says, “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot
be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man”. There is no
darkness in God. One of the nature of God is light. John 1:4-5 says, “In
him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in
darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”. Therefore, as a new
man in Christ, sin and its consequences has no place in you. You have been
redeemed from the curse of the Law. Halleuyah!!
INSTRUCTION: Stay in the finished work of Christ.
PRAYER: Father, thank you for redeeming us
from the curse of the law, in Jesus name.
QUOTE: God does not give people things, He
gives His nature.
