CHRIST: OUR SPHEPHERD AND HIGH PRIEST.

“The Lord is my shepherd. I will always have everything I need” – Psalm 23:1 (ESV)

LIGHT FOR NOW: He has given you everything.

The arrival of Christ in your life is the arrival of all of God’s promises in your life. As a believer in Christ, you are not in want of power; power has become your lifestyle. There is power at work in you (Ephesians 3:20).  When you know how to engage your high priest, you live a victorious life here on earth. It is therefore your responsibility to understand and have the knowledge of who your high priest is, what he is doing on your behalf and what he can do through you. Christ is in charge of all things. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. (John1:3). As your High Priest and Good Shepherd, he cannot stop giving you all that you need in life. Everything that pertains to life and godliness is already yours. But without an understanding and a precise and accurate knowledge, you will go about looking for what you already have. All promises have been fulfilled in Christ. In Christ, you have all things. No more promises waiting to be fulfilled. Christ is the fulfillment of all of God’s promises.

As our text for today portrays, you can boldly declare that you have all what you need because Christ is your shepherd. Christ as your good shepherd supplies all of your needs. Therefore, as a believer in Christ, you must always commonize your problems. Never magnify your problems, rather switch into the realm you belong where there are impossibilities and take delivery of whatever you need. Just as you believe Christ as your high priest, you must also trust him as your good Shepherd. You need to engage him because that is the reason He is seated on the Mercy Seat.

INSTRUCTION: Engage your Shepherd and High Priest.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for you are the source of my life, in Jesus Name!

QUOTE: To look up to man is to look downward; to look up to God is to look upward.
