“For we walk by faith,
not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7
LIGHT FOR THE NOW: If you do not say it, you cannot have it.
Being born again, we are engaged in a spiritual warfare: a
fight of faith. Actually, it is called ‘the good fight of faith’ (1Timothy
6:12). It is a good fight because we always win. If a Christian loses in the
fight of faith, it is a clear indication that he is not using the right
arsenal; and part of that arsenal is your words. In 1 Timothy 1:18, Apostle
Paul, by the Spirit of God gave an important charge to Timothy, and by
extension the rest of us saying, “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy,
according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them
mightiest war a good warfare”. We are to make war with prophecies.
Never allow the Word of God that has gone forth concerning your finances,
health, family, business or career fall on the ground. Use them in your fight
of faith. Make war with them. No matter what comes against you, no matter the
challenges or crisis you face, declare the Word.
In this New Year, it is time to make war with those
prophecies you wrote down somewhere in your note or dairy. God sent those words
to you for you to affirm same in consent. You should not receive a prophetic
word and go to sleep awaiting manifestation. You must work it out. You might
receive a word of Prophecy that you will get a job. If you go to sleep without
sending in application letters, how will the job come? Or when you receive a
word of prophecy that you are healed of that infirmity and you are still lying
down writhing in pains instead of standing up and affirming the word over your
situation, you will still be afflicted by that sickness. Likewise, you receive
a word that you will be blessed and you don’t go out to get something doing,
the prophecy will never be fulfilled because God only blesses the works of your
hands. This year, you must make war with your prophecies. Fight the good fight
of faith. Possess the bulldog kind of faith. When a bull dog gets a hold of a
bone, it doesn’t let it go until the bone is crushed to powder form. This is
how to make war with words. Keep saying it until it happens.
INSTRUCTION:In the face of adversity, make war
with words. Affirm your victory.
PRAYER:Father, I take charge of situations
and circumstances by my words, and I reign over Satan and the elements of this
world, in Jesus name.
QUOTE: You shall have what you say!
