SAVED BY GRACE

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: No captive can bail himself. It takes only a free man to bail a captive.

Grace is the unmerited favor of God towards man. Jesus is the Grace of God. The Bible speaking in Titus 2:11 says, ‘for the grace of God hath appeared unto all men’. Jesus came to redeem all men back to God. But just as a gift cannot be yours until you accept and receive it, you cannot be saved until you believe and receive Jesus. Christ came to restore us back to our original place with God. We are no longer enemies with God. God is no longer angry with man. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into the grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God” (Romans 5:1-2). By the death of Christ, we now have peace with God. This means that we have been united with God and now have a right standing with God. To put it simply, God is happy with you because you believe in Christ Jesus.

We are saved by grace. Salvation is a gift. You do not pay for a gift. Likewise, we didn’t have to pay for our salvation. We did not even have what it takes to pay for our salvation because we were bound men. A bond man cannot free himself. It takes only a free man to set the bond man free. Jesus set us free. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross purchased our salvation. At the cross, an exchange was made. Jesus died our death so that we could live his life on this earth. We did not have to contribute anything towards our salvation. Jesus Christ did it all. We don’t even have to confess our sins to be saved. All we need to do is to confess Jesus and be saved. In Romans 10:9-10, we read ‘that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him up from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation’. The Grace of God brings justification. ‘There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit’ (Romans 8:1).

INSTRUCTION: Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

PRAYER: Lord, I believe and receive you into my life; therefore I am saved in Jesus Name.

QUOTE: Grace is the grease that makes life easy.

THE DYNAMICS OF A NEW CREATION

“Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new” 2Corinthians 5:17.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: God does not live in heaven but He lives in you.

There has been a lot of confusion in the church about who a new man in Christ is. The world has come to see a new man in Christ as an ordinary man because of wrong information. Until we have a deep knowledge of who a born again creature is, we will not be able to function fully in the power of God. A deep understanding of whom a born again creature is can be determined by how you relate with God or how you see God. Born again experience is a called experience. The Holy Spirit lives in a reborn man to lead and guide that life. The moment you receive God into your life, the Holy Spirit begins to live in you. It is the new birth that makes a difference between the old covenant and the new covenant. The most powerful creation of God is the rebirth of man. The rebirth of man is what Satan cannot comprehend. It is a mystery to Satan how God became man and man becomes God. This is what Satan cannot handle. Therefore, a born again child of God is a mystery to Satan. The devil has no right to predict you. As a new creation, you become unpredictable and unstoppable by the devil and his agents.

God does not live in Heaven but He lives in you. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says; “What! Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not you own?” The rebirth of the human spirit makes it possible for us to be filled with the Holy Ghost. You cannot live right until He lives in you. The life you have at new birth is called light because that is your new nature. Your life as a new creation is connected to that light. A born again creature cannot be controlled by the forces of darkness. John 1 vs 4-5 says, “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shinneth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”. What brought darkness to man was sin. Therefore, whatever can handle sin can also handle darkness. How fast and how far you go in life is a function of the kind of light you have. A car with a bad light cannot drive fast. A new creation is guided by God because God by nature is light.

INSTRUCTION: Go ahead and prosper.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to connect my life to your light, in Jesus name.

QUOTE:You cannot live right until He lives in you.

WINNING WITH WORDS

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: If you do not say it, you cannot have it.

Being born again, we are engaged in a spiritual warfare: a fight of faith. Actually, it is called ‘the good fight of faith’ (1Timothy 6:12). It is a good fight because we always win. If a Christian loses in the fight of faith, it is a clear indication that he is not using the right arsenal; and part of that arsenal is your words. In 1 Timothy 1:18, Apostle Paul, by the Spirit of God gave an important charge to Timothy, and by extension the rest of us saying, “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightiest war a good warfare”. We are to make war with prophecies. Never allow the Word of God that has gone forth concerning your finances, health, family, business or career fall on the ground. Use them in your fight of faith. Make war with them. No matter what comes against you, no matter the challenges or crisis you face, declare the Word.

In this New Year, it is time to make war with those prophecies you wrote down somewhere in your note or dairy. God sent those words to you for you to affirm same in consent. You should not receive a prophetic word and go to sleep awaiting manifestation. You must work it out. You might receive a word of Prophecy that you will get a job. If you go to sleep without sending in application letters, how will the job come? Or when you receive a word of prophecy that you are healed of that infirmity and you are still lying down writhing in pains instead of standing up and affirming the word over your situation, you will still be afflicted by that sickness. Likewise, you receive a word that you will be blessed and you don’t go out to get something doing, the prophecy will never be fulfilled because God only blesses the works of your hands. This year, you must make war with your prophecies. Fight the good fight of faith. Possess the bulldog kind of faith. When a bull dog gets a hold of a bone, it doesn’t let it go until the bone is crushed to powder form. This is how to make war with words. Keep saying it until it happens.

INSTRUCTION:In the face of adversity, make war with words. Affirm your victory.

PRAYER:Father, I take charge of situations and circumstances by my words, and I reign over Satan and the elements of this world, in Jesus name.

QUOTE: You shall have what you say!

THE CONTENT OF A NEW CREATION

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever” 1Peter 1:23.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: A new creation is the product of the Word and not gold or silver.

A new creation is made of the Word and redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. Peter speaking in 1Peter 1:18-25 says, “For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot…Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever”. A new creation is not a product of sperm, blood or the will of man, but of God (John 1:13-14). It is that same Word that became flesh and dwelt among men. Jesus Christ is that Word. Christ is a product of the spoken word (Genesis 1:3; John 1:1).  There is no difference between a new creation and Christ. Both are products of the Word. The power that brought about resurrection is the same power that brought about new birth. A new creation is a product of the Word of God. A new creation is not a continuation of Adam. He is not a sinner saved by grace. He is forever saved. The problem of Christianity is not sin but sin consciousness.

The price of sin was paid in full. Sin was dealt with by the birth, suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice of death for our sins. It is your belief in the finished work of Christ that distinguishes you from the unbelievers. The greatest creation of God is the creation of God in a man. Of all that God created, a new creation is the greatest. The devil cannot handle seeing God in a man. He cannot comprehend it. This is why the devil remains defeated because a new creation is a mystery to him. A new creation is not traceable to Adam but he is traceable to Christ. A new man in Christ is better and higher than Adam in his perfect state. A new creature is a partaker of the divine nature of God (2Peter 1:4). He is a co-creator. A new creation has what it takes to bring what has never been into existence. The Word of God is the raw material that produces a new creature. The realm of a new creature is the realm of the Word.

INSTRUCTION: Discover your content in the Scripture.

PRAYER:  I am who God says I am and I do what the Word says I do, in Jesus name!

QUOTE:The content of a New Creature is the content of the Word.

ALIVE IN CHRIST

“But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel”             2 Timothy 1:10

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Everyone in Christ Jesus is free from death, sin and the law.

The word, ‘abolished’ means to cancel, wipe out and to remove. This means that Jesus had wiped out, cancelled and removed the power of death through His death on the cross. The preaching of the gospel is the propagation and declaration of eternal life. The gospel, which is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is what frees men from the power of death (1 Corinthians 15:53-56). The Law empowers sin and sin empowers death. This means that death depends on sin and the law to operate. Death has been dethroned. Jesus Christ disarmed death by his sacrifice on the cross. Hebrews 9:26-28 says, “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin, unto salvation”. Jesus did not just die but he died to wipe out the sins of the world. Everyone who is in Christ is free from the law, sin and death.

Ephesians 2:15-16 (NLT) says, “He did this by ending the system of the law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross and our hostility toward each other was put to death”. It is the transgression of the Law that makes people sinners. Jesus did not just keep the law, He took it to the cross and nailed it (Matthew 5:17; Romans 10:4; Colossians 2:13-14). God made us alive when He raised Jesus up from the dead. Jesus did not just deal with the power of death, but He took care of all principalities and powers (Colossians 2:15-16).  Therefore, sin has no power over you. Jesus used righteousness to judge sin (Romans 8:24).

INSTRUCTION:Stay in the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER:Lord, thank you for taking my place and dying for my sins, in Jesus name.

QUOTE: To be free from sin is to be free from death.

BELIEVE AND RECEIVE

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”

Romans 12:2.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: You need knowledge to rule your world.

The good, acceptable and perfect will of God can only be achieved through knowledge. This is the core foundation for receiving. In receiving, one must first believe and how do you believe in something you have little or no knowledge about? Life is in the mind, your mind needs to be updated; if your android phones require a constant upgrade, how much more yourself? No matter what you want to attain in life, greater academic heights, career, business and marriage; knowledge is a necessity.

One of the benefits of believing in Christ is; He has given you all that you require to succeed through redemption, you have the power to access and receive everything that He paid for at the cross. What you believe erodes delay and ushers you into your place in destiny. 1 Peter 5:10 says, “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered awhile make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you”. Remember, no matter what you think you want or need in life, all you need to do is believe and you will receive.

INSTRUCTION: Start believing in your dreams and watch as they come into manifestation.

PRAYER:  Lord, because I believe, I position myself to receive all the benefits of my redemption in Jesus Name, Amen.

QUOTE: Believing is receiving.

VICTORY IS YOURS

“And on that cross, Christ freed himself from the power of the spiritual rulers and authorities; he made a public spectacle of them by leading them as captives in his victory procession” Colossians 2:15 GNT

LIGHT FOR THE NOW:  The provisions of your victory are beyond just being declared a winner.

The resurrection of Christ from the dead was the greatest event of eternity. The cross remains a symbol of Satan’s defeat. Jesus Christ died, was buried and he rose again. He conquered hell and stripped Satan of all his sham authority. Jesus got back the dominion that Satan took from man at the fall of Adam. You died with Christ, were crucified with him and rose again with him. You were with him in that victory over Satan. It was your victory not His. He did not need to fight that battle, but he fought it for you. Just as Jesus conquered Satan, you too can do it. You have gained mastery over the works of the devil. The resurrection of Jesus was the end of the era of defeat and a new era of victory. You need to understand what Christ did for us and what it means to be identified with him. It’s time to appreciate the position in which he has placed us and the authority he has given us in His name.

The provisions of our victory are beyond just being declared a winner. Jesus defeated Satan and made us righteous victors. By that defeat, he made us kings to reign in the realm of life where Satan can no longer be lord over us and where disease is under our feet. We are New Creation Sons and all things are ours (1Corinthians 3:21). We are victorious. We are not trying to be victorious but we have already been declared victorious. This means that we are fighting that battle already from the victory point. If God can not suffer defeat, we cannot suffer defeat. Victory is ours because of our position in Christ Jesus. Halleluiah!!!

INSTRUCTION: Keep walking in victory

PRAYER:  Lord, I am victorious in all things, in Jesus name!

QUOTE:If God cannot suffer defeat, you too cannot suffer defeat.

YOU ARE A SON (2)

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God…” 1 John 3:2

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: It is only sons that have right to the father’s inheritance.

The Bible records in John 1:10-11 that Jesus was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. The world did not know him because they tried to figure him out by their senses; they were looking at His outward appearance. They could not see that He was the maker of the universe. God Himself was with them but they did not recognize Him. Likewise, the world also does not recognize us a new creations and associates of the God-kind. They think that we are ordinary, but we are sons of God. We are God-men in the earth; we are divine because the life in us is the life of God. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God”. He gave us the right, the ability to become the sons of God. We are not going to be the sons of God when we get to heaven. No! We are sons of God NOW!!! James 1:18 declares, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth…

When you heard the gospel, and opened your heart to the Word, the life of God was imparted to your spirit, and you were born again. But the world still looks at you and thinks they are seeing the same old person. Just because you are encased in an ordinary human body does not mean that you are ordinary. The Bible in 2 Peter 1:4 describes you as a partaker of the divine nature. You are in God’s class of being, the divine class. You are not a mere mortal; you are actually a god walking here on earth. If animals give birth to animals, God therefore gives birth to gods. According to Psalms 82:6, “ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High”. You must get to know who you are because it is in only in knowing who you are that you will know what belongs to you and live to your full potentials. Be bold in life. You are a son of God; a joint heir with Christ.

INSTRUCTION:Refuse to live an ordinary live. You are a son of God

PRAYER:I am born of God, therefore I overcome the world, in Jesus name.

YOU ARE A SON (1)

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” John 1:12

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: It is only a son that is entitled to privileges and inheritance.

The highest name men could answer after the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden in relationship with God was servant. If Jesus could call Himself the Son of God, it means God is His father and He has the nature of God. Jesus, through the covenant of Grace has made every member of His New Covenant a son. It is only a son that is entitled to privileges and inheritance. If you are a son of God, it means you are part of divinity and divinity is part of you. Titus 3:7 (NLT) says, “Because of his grace, he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life”. If you are a son of God, you have an inheritance of eternal life. It is your belief in Jesus that guarantees your position as a son. Our text for today clearly shows that as many that received Jesus and believes on His name, He gave them power to become sons of God.

It is an error to believe that Jesus is the only son of God. Jesus is the First Begotten of the Father. The Bible records in Acts 13:33-34, “God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, THOU ART MY SON, THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE. And concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I WILL GIVE YOU THE SURE MERCIES OF DAVID”. After the death and glorious resurrection of Christ, God reaped many sons. Therefore, you are also a son of God. You have the liberty to enjoy all rights and privileges sons enjoy. You have the right to place a demand and not beg. Sons don’t beg. You have the right to decree a thing and it is established. You have the right to your inheritance.

INSTRUCTION:Rise into your son-ship.

PRAYER:Father, I enforce my son-ship and I enjoy all privileges as your son in Jesus name.

QUOTE: Sons don’t beg. Sons place demands.

THE MINISTRATION OF LIFE

“For if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious” 2Corinthians 3:7-8.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: The Law is to minister death while the Spirit brings the ministration of life.

The law was given to reveal the helplessness of man. It was given to point man to his Saviour. Apostle Paul referred to the Law as “the ministration of death”. The Law came so that condemnation might stand. When the Law was read, death was ministered; people were condemned; spiritual death became a consciousness. According to Apostle Paul in Romans 7:13, “For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died”. The law was given because of sin, so that sin might be shown to be what it really is. The Old Testament could not fulfill God’s intention which was to give life to man. Rather, it brought death because of the imperfections of the flesh. No one could fulfill the law. No one could live up to the standards that the law prescribed. But thanks be unto God! Christ Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law. The Bible says that through Him, all are justified from all the things which they could not have been justified by the law (Acts 13:39).

Jesus Christ brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). So today, when the New Testament is preached; the Spirit of life is being ministered. 2 Corinthians 3:6 says, “who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life”. The letter here refers to the Law. The Law kills, but the spirit gives life. We can therefore say that the ministration of the Law was death but the ministration of the Spirit is the ministration of life.

INSTRUCTION:Stop focusing on the old. Embrace the new.

PRAYER:Father, I thank you for the privilege to minister life to the world through the gospel, in Jesus name.

QUOTE:Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of the Law.

FREEDOM FROM SIN

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” Romans 5:17

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: By the righteousness of His person, we have been declared right.

Death entered into the world through sin. Without sin, there would be no death. For Satan to have authority over man, sin needed to be in place. Death passed unto all men using sin as a legal ground. The greatest bondage is to be in the bondage of sin. Without sin, there is nowhere man would suffer. The greatest deliverance a man needs is the forgiveness of sins. The nature of sin was already attached to us from birth. Adam had introduced sin as an activity into the world. Through disobedience to God’s instruction, Adam had established a pattern by choice (Romans3:10-12, 23; Romans 5:6-8). Death came to existence because of sin. Salvation does not just bring forgiveness of sins; it also brings freedom from death. Sin is the mother of all evil and it is what gives Satan the power to operate. No man could pay the demands of sins. Ephesians 2:1 says, “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespass and sins”. Anytime you are free from sin, you are free from all the consequences of sin. Sin has been removed by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. By the righteousness of His person, you have been declared right and that is grace.

Christ did not just save you but He keeps you saved. Salvation is the package for removing our sins, forgiving our sins and keeping us saved. Hebrews 2:14-15 (NLT) says, “Because God’s children are human beings made of flesh and blood – the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying”. So, the death of Christ was a total destruction, a technical knock out to the devil and his agents.

INSTRUCTION:Know that your sins have been forgiven.

PRAYER:Lord, thank you for taking my place and dying for my sins, in Jesus name.

QUOTE: To be free from sin is to be free from death.

THE LOVE OF GOD

“But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: God’s love was not a reaction to our request.

The love of God supersedes every other kind of love. People love you for what they can get from you or only when you are beneficial to them. But God’s love was not a reaction to our request. The bible records that God demonstrated His love towards us even while we were of no use whatsoever to Him. This is the greatest kind of love. The demonstration of God’s love is not taught in the scripture from the experiential point of view. It is always referred to as a past activity. Prophet Isaiah speaking in Isaiah 53:4-6 says, “Surely he hath borne our grief, and carried our sorrows: yet we esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all”. The love of God is specifically hinged on the death of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. Our experiences do not approve or disprove God’s love for us. His love is an unshakeable truth (Isaiah 49:15).

When you understand your identity in Christ, you would know that the love of God is so broad. God’s love is irrevocable. Jesus has never condemned anyone. The Bible speaking in Romans 8:1 (NLT) says, “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus”. His commitment is irrespective of our good or bad conduct. He had already forgiven us even before we were born. Men love you only when you are good to them but the love of God towards us is unconditional. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. It is the ‘so love’ that distinguishes the love of God from the love of men. No man can so love you. It is the ‘so love’ that led Jesus Christ to the Cross to die for our sins. No matter how much man professes to love you, he cannot accept to die for you; but Christ died for us. This is the extent to show how much God loves us. We must reciprocate that love by reaching the world with the gospel of the love of God.

INSTRUCTION:Appreciate the love of God.

PRAYER:Father, I thank you for your love towards me, in Jesus name.

QUOTE: Man love with limitations, but God’s love is boundless and unconditional.

THE SPIRIT IS IN YOU (2)

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Everything Jesus Came to accomplish was aimed at Christ dwelling in you.

The essence of Christianity is Christ in you; that is the power and glory of Christianity. When some people say, ‘Christ is in me’, they are merely repeating a religious cliché. They have not really grasped the import of that statement. Everything Jesus came to accomplish was aimed at reproducing Christ in you. Christ in you is everything. Jesus didn’t just come to save us from sin, He saved us for a purpose! Saving us from sin was a means to an end which was to make each one of us God’s living tabernacle, in such a way that we become one with Him. The ultimate aim of Christianity is reproducing Christ here on earth. It is an extraordinary thinking. It reveals the excellence of God’s mentality. God didn’t just make us His house; He made us one with Himself. Together, we are one divine creation. For the Bible says, “….for that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

God’s ultimate purpose was to reproduce Himself in us and He has achieved this through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. He didn’t just want to have children; His idea was to reproduce Himself and have associates of the God-kind. You may look at your life now with all that is happening around you and your life doesn’t seem like you are anything close to being an associate of the God-kind. This is why God wants you to focus on His Word and see that your royal and priestly life has begun. The Holy Spirit in you is the assurance, the guarantee and the realization of this glorious life. Halleujah!!

INSTRUCTION:Focus on the Word not on your situation.

PRAYER:Christ in me, the hope of glory, Amen.

QUOTE:You are a walking resurrection.

THE SPIRIT IS IN YOU (1)

“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: You are a carrier of the presence of God.

In the Old Testament, the children of Israel transported the presence of God from place to place every time they carried the Tabernacle of Witness, which contained the Ark of the Covenant. The only thing in the ark was God’s commandments. Today, your heart is the Ark of God; that is where the Word is. Remember what the Bible says in Jeremiah 31:33, “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; after those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people”.This was fulfilled in us when we got born again. We were born again by the Word of God and became living epistles, “written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God – not in tables of stones, but with the fleshy tables of the heart” (2 Corinthians 3:3).

You are now a living ark of testimony and the tabernacle of His presence, “For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God and they shall be my people” (2 Corinthians 6:16). God dwells in you now. You have become a carrier of His divine presence. You are God walking here on earth. God walks the earth through you. Wherever you enter, God enters. Your hand is God’s hands, your feet have become God’s feet, your mouth has become His mouth. God walks and talks through you. You are in Him and He’s in you. Not only are you now in the presence of God, you carry the presence of God. The headquarters of divinity has been relocated to your inside. Every time you show up in a place, you show up with the presence of God. As a carrier of His divine presence, you are not permitted to leave any ugly situation the same way you met it. Christ in you; the hope of Glory. Alleluia!!

WE ARE DEMONSTRATORS OF HIS LOVE

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:5.

LIGHT FOR THE NOW: Divine love is not something to be prayed for; it is a feature of your recreated human spirit.

Christianity is all about the demonstration of divine love. 1 John 4:8 says, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love”. God is love personified. He demonstrated His love towards us in that He gave Christ to die for us while we were yet sinners and of no use whatsoever to Him (Romans 5:8). Being born again, you are born of God. If God who is love gave birth to you, then you are a child of love, and love personified. Divine love is not something to be prayed for; it is a feature of your recreated human spirit. Galatians 5:22 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love…” What is therefore expected of you as a born again child of God is to demonstrate the love that is stored up in your heart, and be a blessing to your world. Be an oasis of love in a troubled world.

Jesus said in John 14:15, “If ye love me; keep my commandments”. An example of His commandment is the instruction to preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). You will be demonstrating the love of God to your world when you reach out to others with the gospel of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:14 says, “For the love of Christ constraineth us…” We are propelled by His love to preach the Gospel, just as He was propelled by love to take the place of sinful men on the cross. He was the expression and communication of the love of God. Not only did He speak words of blessings to the people, He also touched them and related with them in love. People from all walks of life came to Jesus, to hear him and to be with Him, because in His words, they heard and saw love. As a Christian or a minister of the Gospel, this should be your desire. You have to manifest the love of Jesus to the world. It is one of the things the Holy Ghost does in your life; to reveal God to you. As you get to know God, His love dominates you. This is because the more you love Him, the more like Him you become.

PRAYER:Lord, I thank you for loving me and taking my place on the cross, in Jesus Name. Amen.
